Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out accounting activities (including entries, analysis, reconciliations, financial statements, etc.) for Big Dutchman, Inc. and affiliates
  • Assist Accounting Manager in accounting functions as needed for Big Dutchman entities and divisions
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Accounting Manager and VP Finance’s attention
  • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
  • Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist Accounting Manager with conducting audits
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance

Qualifications:

Human Resources Generalist-Senior (Full-time – Salary)

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position supports the Senior HR Manager on all aspects of HR management for all locations, while taking lead role in supporting our Charlotte, NC, and Lowell, MI, Units. The holder of this position will spend one day every other week in Lowell, MI, and 3 to 4 days per month in NC. In greater detail, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with all levels of Management to develop HR strategies that are compatible with Company goals
  • Hiring and termination processes of local and out of state regular employees, temporary staff, and interns
  • Overseeing HR activities in our NC and Lowell offices as well as assist with BDUS employees
  • Conducting new employee orientation
  • Maintaining personnel files and previous HR files according to legal requirements
  • Supporting company policies and procedures (development and maintenance done in Holland, MI.)
  • Adapting job descriptions to local needs when necessary, as approved by Holland, MI

Director of Sales, Pig Business Unit (Full-time – Salary)

Location: Preferably in Holland, MI. Consideration will be given to working out of home office, as long as residing in suitable location in the USA. In this case it will be necessary significant presence at company headquarters in Holland, MI

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for promotion and sales of complete product line pertaining to this BU in the territory, aiming to maximize sales and contribution margin. Most functions are performed in close interaction and cooperation with Director Customer Solutions for this BU (Matrix model). In greater detail, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supervises sales team, including:
    • Personnel hiring and termination
    • Sets sales goals and manages follow up mechanisms
    • Supports President and HR Dept in establishing compensation programs, and monitors them, including approving commission payments
    • Approves expenses

Sales Coordinator, Big Dutchman Latin America (Full-Time – Hourly)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with all internal departments to answer varying questions that the customer may have (technical, pricing, product availability, etc.) and relay the information via fax/phone/e-mail to the customer and salesperson
  • Remain in daily contact with international sales personnel and agents
  • Handle international projects with salespeople from start to finish
  • Complete proforma invoices, quotations, and international shipping documents
  • Enter sales orders once quotations have been accepted
  • Complete margin summary analysis per project including commissions

CRM / Pricing Administrator (Full-Time – Hourly)

Position Summary: The CRM / Pricing Administrator is responsible for administrating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on a day-to-day basis.
