We have many exciting things to share with you in booth #B37017 at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta! New innovations for both poultry and egg production will be unveiled for you to see for the first time. Get a first look at a few of the products that will be on display:
NXB ReMix: A reimagined breeder nest
The NXB ReMix is a reimagined version of our trusted NXB nest, purpose-built for today’s high-performing broiler breeders. This hybrid small-group nest combines the cleanliness and comfort of individual nests with the efficiency of community designs, all in a compact footprint tailored to U.S. house dimensions. A new, effective closure system helps keep birds out when needed, while the darker, enclosed interior encourages proper laying behavior. The NXB ReMix excels at delivering higher bird density without sacrificing comfort.
MultiVacc: Administer Up to Five Vaccination Injections at Once
Big Dutchman presents a ground-breaking innovation that revolutionizes the vaccination of pullets. The semi-automatic mobile device is the first vaccination machine that can administer up to four precise breast injections and one wing-web injection simultaneously in a single operation. MultiVacc sets new standards in terms of ergonomic design, precision, safety, and high throughput. Stress for the birds and the workload of the vaccinating staff are both significantly reduced.
Sharky 430: The First of Its Kind Aviary Cleaning Robot
Big Dutchman has developed Sharky 430, the world’s first autonomous cleaning robot for rearing and laying aviaries. Special attention was given to designing the cleaning arm. Its many degrees of freedom make the arm highly flexible, so it can reach areas that are normally difficult to access, such as the nests or inner troughs. Sharky 430 senses components of the aviary system for contactless orientation, i.e., guide rails are not necessary. Sharky can be used around the clock, even at night, without human intervention.
CompoTower: High-Quality Composter That Creates Organic Fertilizer
CompoTower is a compact, vertical, enclosed stainless-steel composting system that converts dried poultry manure into high-quality organic fertilizer. Designed for minimal footprint and easy integration, CompoTower excels in fast and easy installation, easy handling, and short drying time. The resulting compost is suitable for horticulture and agriculture, improves soils, offers good plant availability, and can be pelletized for downstream use.
