Gestation Barn Solutions
Pen gestation or group housing allows sows to move around freely in their pens as opposed to being crated in individual gestation stalls. To feed sows individually, the following stalls and feeding systems can be applied
• All sows eat at the same time
• Sows can easily be supervised during feeding times
• Sows do not need any training for this system
• No aggression during feeding
• Feeding space is 45 - 55 cm (17.72 – 21.65 inches) wide
• Simple pen arrangement
• Cost-effective solution

Pen Gestation with Individual Stalls
Sows can move freely in the group but are fed in stalls. Thus every sow has her own feeding place and will not be disturbed during feed intake.
Flip Stalls are opened and closed manually or automatically with a winch system.
The stalls can easily be installed into existing gestation barns replacing the old gestation crates that did not allow sows to move around and interact in a group.

Pen Gestation with Free-access Stalls
Sows can move freely in the group but are fed in stalls.
The HD Free-access stalls close automatically when the sow enters the stall and are again opened by the sow, when she wants to leave the stall.
