A team from Poultry Management Systems, Inc (PMSI) along with Clovis Rayzel, President of Big Dutchman USA, recently visited the headquarters of the Big Dutchman group in Vechta, Germany. Doug Powell (President of PMSI), with Eric Hansen and Sean Ryan (PMSI engineers) were welcomed by CEO Bernd Meerpohl, who showed the group around the Big Dutchman campus. Part of the visit included meetings chaired by Bernd and attended by Big Dutchman technical teams to start cooperation and integration between Big Dutchman and PMSI product lines. In April of this year Big Dutchman acquired a majority interest in PMSI of Saranac, MI, USA. According to Clovis Rayzel "the philosophies common to Big Dutchman and PMSI which led to the acquisition are the customer driven and solutions oriented values shared by both companies.² PMSI, which was founded in 1980, holds the majority of the computer and technology market share in the USA and Canada for the egg production industry. |
