Callmatic 2 new gestation house for 200 pregnant sows Early in June 2003, a new house for 200 pregnant sows was inaugurated in Denmark. The special feature of this house is that no ventilation system has been installed it is ventilated naturally. Openings in the side walls, which can be closed with special curtains, ensure a constant exchange of house air by fresh air. Liquid feeding is effected by four CALLMATIC 2 feeding-on-demand systems. The concrete resting area can be heated and is lightly covered with straw, thus allowing the pigs to root.
