Free Access Crate - is a stall for sows which allows the sows to move freely in the group. The sows may enter for undisturbed feeding and can chose to rest inside or outside the stalls. The free access crate closes automatically when the sow enters the crate and is opened by the sow when she wants to leave. Feed can be supplied either by dry or liquid systems. (1.4MB)

With Big Dutchman’s TriSort automatic sorting scale, finishing pigs in large group management – with an optimum number of 250 to 350 pigs per group – can be sorted based on their individual weights. Among other things, this helps to determine the exact number and weight of ready-to-slaughter pigs. (872KB)
